About Me

I'm not a very interesting guy on first impressions. You'd know that, really, if you knew me. I read a lot, I'm a very quiet man, and I have an affinity for vices like booze and cigarettes. Fortunately, if you do spend the time with me, you'd know there's a bit more to me than that, so we'll talk about that really quickly, so you can enjoy the rest of the blog.

I'm a graduate from the University of Huddersfield, where I studied Journalism for three years. It was during my second year that I realised I don't particularly know if Journalism itself is just my career, or something I'd want to invest every moment of my life towards. Strange, but true. I'm a human, and human's fluctuate just as much as the tide in terms of their temperance.

I started writing, which is what this blog is going to be about, at a really young age. I forgot when, even, but I believe it was about secondary school, maybe year ten. So 14, maybe. I wrote a short novella, about 60 pages, for my English Lit class, and then I sent bits and pieces to places. I thin it was put in a free magazine, or something, but I'm old now.

Since then, I've been writing for a lot of different reasons: People I love, or people I loved, friends, family, a wide gamut of people. I'm an idiot who likes wordsmithing, and has too much time on my hands. That combination is saved for hermits and authors, and I'm a bit of both.

Now that that's out of the way, have a little look around. You might find something ya like.
